Paul L. Brown - Chief Executive Officer BSc FRICS FHKIS

Paul Brown is a chartered surveyor who has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1979. He is a Fellow of both the RICS and HKIS and is a Registered Professional Surveyor. In 1988 he became Chief Executive of Sallmanns (Far East) Limited and in 1990 acquired the business operations of the group in Asia. He has undertaken numerous major valuation assignments and acted as an expert valuer on many occasions. He has received many appointments to act as Arbitrator / Independent Valuer and has advised the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on valuation methodology, having undertaken a significant number of instructions for IPO and corresponding purposes.

He has been an appointed member of the Lands’ Tribunal, and has served on the Executive Committee and several regulatory bodies of the General Practice Division of the RICS (HK) Branch. He was an appointed member of the Business Valuation committee of the Institute of Directors and has been instrumental in bringing the practice of business and financial valuation into an integrated ambit of real estate valuation and investment practice.

Sylvia Lau - Director LL.M., CPA

Sylvia Lau is responsible for marketing and managing of major valuation projects at Jones Lang LaSalle Sallmanns including valuations for Listings, and Sino-foreign joint venture establishment.

Since joining Sallmanns Sylvia in 1997 has worked on numerous projects throughout the PRC including valuations in different industries, such as Agriculture, Automotive, Electronics, Food & Beverage, Footwear, Gas Utilities, Internet-related, High-technological, Leather, Oil & Gas, Packaging, Port Facilities, Power Generation, Printing, Property Development, Software development, Textile, Toll Roads, etc.

Sylvia holds a BBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong; a CPA from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Master in Law (LLM) from the City University of Hong Kong.

Sue Chen - Director BSc, MBA, CREV, CRIOCM

Sue has spearheaded Sallmanns China drive since 1995, during which time the company has become one of the leading Hong Kong based international valuation company providing services for PRC enterprises listing in global stock markets.

Sue is a chartered surveyor who holds MBA Degree of Kellogg HKUST Program and Bsc degree in Land Management of Beijing Renmin University. She is also a member of Appraisal Society of America, China Certificate Real Estate valuer and (REMO).

Simon MK Chan - Director HKICPA CPA (Aust)

Simon Chan is responsible for the management and development of the Business Valuation and Corporate Consultancy Division of Jones Lang LaSalle Sallmanns.

Simon is a qualified accountant in Hong Kong and Australia and has over 13 years of accounting, auditing and corporate advisory experience. He has extensive exposure to the business environment in the Greater China region, and has participated in the IPOs of various large state-owned enterprises and has also successfully assisted various multinational companies investing in China. He has provided a wide range of corporate advisory services to large multinational companies and private equity funds, included merger and acquisition advisory services, deal structuring advisory services, financial modeling, review of business valuation and post-acquisition advisory services. Simon is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CPA Australia.
